My ADHD Life

Welcome to My ADHD Life!

Welcome! I’m Dr. Tish Gentile DHSc, MPH, BSc, and I’m pleased to have you here. This website was created to share my personal experiences with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and to provide evidence-based information, educational resources, and practical strategies to support individuals affected by ADHD.

My mission is to raise awareness, eliminate stigma, and offer resources that empower individuals to thrive and build lives they truly love.

About Me

Hello, I’m Tish! Originally from Arkansas, I now reside in New England with my husband and our beloved fur babies. I am also the proud mother of two adult sons, Ashton and Kyle, and the proud "Lolli" to my precious granddaughter.

ADHD Diagnosis:
I was diagnosed with ADHD (combined type) at a young age and attended special education from 2nd grade through my senior year of high school. Throughout college, I received accommodations to help manage my ADHD, which played a crucial role in my academic success. As an adult with ADHD, I continually seek out healthy ways to manage and live with the disorder. My goal is to share my experiences to educate others living with ADHD, reduce stigma, and offer support through understanding and empowerment.

Education:
I hold a Doctor of Health Sciences (DHSc) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from A.T. Still University, along with a Certificate of Public Health from A.T. Still University. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Professional Experience:
I am passionate about healthcare and have had the privilege of working in various hospital settings for over 20 years. Currently, I serve as a Learning and Development Consultant at a prominent academic medical institution in New England, where I help shape and enhance professional development initiatives.
